Sad smiles, Glad Smiles

Dear Folks,

Today's Economic Times, Chennai carried two articles that caught my attention for entirely different reasons - one made me happy to be an Indian, the other made me feel a bit sad being an Indian. Both brought smiles to me, nevertheless!

Here's the link for the two articles:

  1. Indianness is for showing-off by Bhanu Pande (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=RVRDSC8yMDA3LzEwLzI4I0FyMDAyMDE=&Mode=HTML&Locale=english-skin-custom) - made me glad and also proud to be an Indian
  2. Too much monkey business by Mythili Bhusnurmath (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=RVRDSC8yMDA3LzEwLzI4I0FyMDA3MDA=&Mode=HTML&Locale=english-skin-custom) - made me sad - that after 60 years after Independence, we are still not able to take better care of our Capital (not a remote village in interior Bihar, TN or Orissa)

Enjoy reading both the above links.

Regards,

N
