Men seek beauty,

women want wealth

I guess that we have "sort of" known it for ages - when people marry (or look for life partners), most men seek a beautiful wife, while most women look for rich men or men with high incomes.

Apparently, people out there in Europe actually spend a lot of time, money and research to find out such great truths instead of looking for means of eradicating poverty, improving communal harmony, etc!

A recent research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences by Peter Todd, of Indiana University, Lars Penke, of Humboldt University, Berlin, Barbara Fasolo, of the London School of Economics, and Alison Lenton, of the University of Edinburgh has apparently "found" what a lot of us have known all along.
