I guess that we have "sort of" known it for ages - when people marry (or look for life partners), most men seek a beautiful wife, while most women look for rich men or men with high incomes.
Apparently, people out there in Europe actually spend a lot of time, money and research to find out such great truths instead of looking for means of eradicating poverty, improving communal harmony, etc!
A recent research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences by Peter Todd, of Indiana University, Lars Penke, of Humboldt University, Berlin, Barbara Fasolo, of the London School of Economics, and Alison Lenton, of the University of Edinburgh has apparently "found" what a lot of us have known all along.

COUPLE SENTENCED TO JAIL
(One after the other, so as to ensure that their infant baby does not suffer!)
A former Morgan Stanley financial analyst and her husband, an ex-hedge fund analyst at ING, were sentenced to a year and half each on Tuesday for insider trading.
But in an unusual twist to the case, U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon sentenced Jennifer Xujia Wang and her husband, Ruopian Chen, to serve their sentences one after the other to allow for at least one of them to be with their infant son!

Justice is done on a case of insider trading, which is so hard to prove, in general!
Even in the so-called "materialistic" USA, the judges have chosen to take into consideration the plight of the innocent infant
The two jailed folks have been asked to pay up part of their ill-gotten wealth!
Educated Women Bleep Better
From my own student days, I knew that the best way to go to sleep is to pick up a nice thick book to read! Preferably, a book on a subject of "Extra special" interest to us!!!
Recent research seems to indicate that this can be scientifically explained at least in case of women! Apparently, educated women sleep better.
