We all know (or have heard of) the sharp memory of elephants. Here's an interesting research insight as to how they remember about their own family members - from the smell of their urine!!!

PIGGY BANKS LEAD TO SHORTAGE OF COINS

PIGGY BANKS LEAD TO SHORTAGE OF COINS

All of you must be remembering the good old days when we used to put away loose change (from our pocket money, gifts from our grand parents/uncles, etc.) in a small piggy bank, and see it grow after a few months into a surprisingly large sum of money.

Apparently, the chinese have been doing that as well, with surprising results at a macro level:

This habit has resulted in an acute shortage of coins in China as "just too many" of its population has been putting away ALL their coins in such piggy banks!!!

ps: Perhaps, it is a macro level problem, but at the micro level, I guess that it makes sense for all of us to develop the habit of being thrifty through the use of piggy banks and benefit from the same!!

Finders, Keepers!

Finders, Keepers!

Hey friends,

I recently saw a rather interesting article about a diamond mine in Arkansas, USA,

where tourists are welcome.

Not only are they welcome, they are welcome to look for diamonds!!

Not only can they look, they can keep all the diamonds that they find!!!

Interesting indeed!

Take a look at the article on this link:

Wonder if USA also gives special visas "More liberally" to those who just wish to make a trip to take a look at (and for those) diamonds?!?!?!?

Regards,

N
