Defying Death with Organ Donation
Here's a touching story of the parents of Sivakumar. Sivakumar, their young child, was declared brain-dead. Most parents would have been shattered. They would have perhaps cursed their fate, cursed all folks around them (perhaps including the doctors), etc. These parents were special - They consciously decided to donate Sivakumar's kidneys, liver and eyes to other patients so that though Sivakumar was no longer with them, some human lives somewhere and their families will forever remember Sivakumar and his parents for the rest of their lives.

Many of the old-timers, especially in certain "special" organisations, would be used to this stuff, though it used to be unofficial.
At Bajaj Auto, it becomes completely official! The employees (over 2500 of them - not one or two, not a dozen here and a dozen there!) at their Akurdi unit are kept "completely idle" - But they are being paid their regular salaries & wages, merely for coming to the factory!!!
Wonder if they also have additional vacancies at various levels - I'm sure that many of us will be interested!!!

SOME DESSERT, THAT!!!
Hi folks! I'm pretty certain that I can't enjoy this dessert, spending US $ 25,000/=. However, I'm sure that I enjoyed the news item ... ... ... The crude response of a rather envious friend was: "Wonder what happens the day after you're done and through with the dessert!" Regards, N |
Dear folks,
Here's a real life story which made brought a happy smile on my face:
Let's celebrate a happy, safe and prosperous Deepavali with pleasant thoughts about how a poor girl managed to achieve success that's truly great by the normal expectations that one would have for people coming from similar backgrounds.
